BREAKING THE HARDCODED: DUAL ATMOSPHERE & DUAL HOMEBREW SET (POC)
The Concept of Total Separation.
This is a working concept (POC) demonstrating a dual Atmosphere configuration featuring two entirely separate sets of homebrew apps on a single SD card.
For a long time, the common understanding was that Atmosphere and Homebrew folders had to be shared. In this video, I’m showing that we can achieve full independence between environments:
SysMMC: Firmware 22.1.0 running Atmosphere 1.11.1.
EmuMMC: Firmware 20.5.0 running Atmosphere 1.9.5.
The Method:
This setup does not involve any modifications to the Atmosphere source code or its structure. Instead, it utilizes a specialized Hekate mod that handles the redirection. By keeping the Atmosphere builds official and authentic, we avoid the risks associated with customized package3 files and maintain system stability.
The Result:
Each environment remains isolated. The apps you see in the SysMMC are completely different from those in the EmuMMC. No more shared contents, no more sysmodule conflicts—just two independent “worlds” on one card.
This isn’t a final release, but a proof that this logic works.
Thanks for watching!
