NINTENDO SWITCH 23.0.0: FIX “FAILED TO MATCH WARMBOOT WITH FUSES”

Did your EmuMMC stop booting normally after updating your Nintendo Switch SysMMC to firmware 23.0.0?

After the official firmware is updated and booted normally, the console’s fuse count may increase. When you try to boot an older EmuMMC afterward, Hekate may display the following warning:

“Failed to match warmboot with fuses. If you continue, sleep won’t work.”

I published a detailed video about this warmboot issue a few months ago. This video is a quick update for firmware 23.0.0, showing you how to temporarily fix the problem using Warmboot Extractor.

You’ll learn how to launch Warmboot Extractor through Hekate, extract compatible warmboot data from the updated SysMMC, and boot back into EmuMMC without the warning. Sleep mode should also work normally again.

At the time of recording, HATS Pack version 2026-09-10-9f82949 does not support firmware 23.0.0 yet. Do not update your EmuMMC to firmware 23.0.0 until compatible versions of Atmosphere and Hekate are available.

Warmboot Extractor is only a temporary solution while waiting for those updates.
